Mouth to Mouth...
21st-24th & 28th-31st July
The stage is set...
A two tier stage has been built into the mound at Eye Castle in Suffolk as the setting for our production of Henry V!
Audiences have enjoyed the performances, here's what one happy punter made of it:
"...it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. I had my doubts as to whether my grandson(aged10) would see it through so at the interval gave him the option of going home. His response was ‘If you want to go home, then go, but I am staying here, it’s fantastic!’
The battle of Agincourt was played out to wowed audiences, having been rigourously rehearsed with the help of fight co-ordinator Keith Wallis. Keith has been involved in a number of major feature films and was most recently choreographing in the Ridley Scott epic, 'Robin Hood'.
"It's a really exciting and ambitious project. I rarely work with actors that have no stage combat experience, but some of these guys are better than the big stars!"
One of Mouth's stalwarts wielding a broadsword for the first time is Dean Sore, a decorator from Worlingworth, playing the arrogent French prince 'The Dauphin'.
"It's a real privilege to be working with someone the calibre of Keith. We've had some cuts and bruises along the way, but it's going to be worth it. With forty blokes going at it with swords in full chain mail, the battle scene is going to look spectacular!"
